Poncho fun

Woken up when the bus stopped at the station this morning. Morag and I were both still half asleep whilst being hassled by taxi drivers, not fun! A weird French man who was on the bus asked if we wanted to share a taxi so we said yes. Got our stuff and put it in the taxi. He was super weird and kept making weird faces to this other taxi driver. He wasn't happy as he was nearly ripped off by the other one! Finally arrived at the hostel luckily not the same one as the French guy otherwise that would have been a downer! It was super expensive but apparently one of the cheapest ones in Yangon. So, we checked into one of the rooms. They gave us a room without a window so we asked for one with and said we would wait so luckily they just gave us one with a window. Both Morag and I finished our books that day and slept. We then decided to do something and found in our lonely planet 'savoy hotel' buy a drink and it's free to swim. So we took a taxi there and had our swim. It was so strange being at such a nice swimming pool after our drive there! The soap in the shower was luxury!! The place only had business people staying there. As we have money left in kyat we decided to splash out and have a nice meal there. Super good food! It was a fun evening. When we left, little children selling flowers on the side of the street helped us get a taxi. Taxi back to hostel and we tried to sleep in our boiling room.
