Oops

My wing mirror had a bit of a coming together with one of its kin on the way into work this morning. It happened on a road I dive pretty much every day and mirror taps aren't that uncommon. The scale of this one was unusual.

Mine lost the mirror glass and the plastic rear cowling. The other car came off worse - the mirror hit the side window shattering it and sending glass through the car. The lady was in a bit of shock when I went over to check she was OK, and a helpful other driver mad sure her daughter was OK. I stayed one of her family came to help sort things out for her - there's no way you can leave a lady and her daughter stranded alone in the middle of the countryside.

The rest of the day was remarkably average, with the exception of a great talk on aerial photography at the camera club by Heather Hook - thanks Heather!
