North west Scottish beach
Today we decided to explore north of where we were staying in Laide, so winging it somewhat we started off by heading to Ullapool where we stopped and had the most delicious fish and chips. From there we drove on to Lochinver and not content with that headed on further to explore the coastline. The scenery just got more and more desolate, remote and beautiful the further we went. The beach was deserted and was set off wonderfully with the backdrop of towering misty mountains like something you'd drew as a kid. I nicknamed one the Matterhorn, it was huge!! I'd be hard pressed to pick out the best views of the week but this place was right up there. Amazing.
