in a tree.

Busy busy day. Cleaned the car inside, washed it outside, emptied and washed the pots that had summer plants in, planted pots of daffodils and tulips, raked leaves , swept paths, filled the bird feeders, washed the breakfast dishes and more. 

Escaped this afternoon, just for a walk though the park. From the footpath on the way there I spotted this heron. I've seen them flying low down rivers and feeding at the edge of rivers and lakes. Never have I seen one perched in a tree.

I've been busy since then making a delicious chicken and mushroom pie for tea and answering the door (with a smile) to the halloween trick or treaters.
