Storm Damage

I'm assuming this tree in Headington Hill Park was one of the local casualties on Monday morning as Storm Jude blew through. The state of the stump did rather make me wonder why the tree hadn't blown down sooner, there wasn't evidence of much good wood there at all.

Council folks have been at the tree with saws removing the branches - and the tape round the body makes it look distinctly like a crime scene.
