Poppies in abundance.

Had to go to Blenheim this morning, early start in the boat to Portage, then took our van to town. It needed it's COF. (which it passed) Our tourism group, Pelorus Promotions have always had their map and advertising in the give-away bags that go to the people who are attending Garden Marlborough. So volunteers were called for, to help with the filling of the bags. But only 4 of our group put up their hands......So from 9 until nearly midday, we and others walked up and down a table that was loaded with brochures etc, and then stuffed them into nice linen-looking bags.
As I walked through Seymour Square, on my way to do this, I saw all some of the garden beds, full of poppies.
Nelmac Garden Marlborough is held annually. It started out as Hunters Garden Marlborough, and this is it's 20th Year.
