Doorway Leaves--Leaf Blip VII

An ornate doorway on upper Fifth Avenue, after visits to the Frick Collection and the Met further south. It appeared to be related to France, but the French Consulate is a number of blocks to the south;

The main event was seeing a small exhibition at the Frick of painting from the Mauritshuis in the Hague (which is renovating and expanding), including Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earing."
