A little early

I keep this on a windowsill in a room where there is not much direct light and I often only see it when it's time for watering. This morning I went in that room and was greeted by a plant full of lovely flowers. The common name for this is Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera) but obviously I'll have to change the name to Early November Cactus. I have now moved it into the kitchen so I can enjoy the blooms.

Ordinary day today, work, walk the dog, make dinner and do the clean up. Gray skies, damp and chilly.
