Reflections

Yesterday was our wedding anniversary but we celebrated today. We went for a 6 mile leisurely walk with Riley on the Susquehanna River Trail in Williamsport, PA. The trail crosses the river on two different bridges, one at each end. I really liked the reflection of the bridge buttresses here.

It was a beautiful autumn day, probably one of the last for this year. The sun was shining on the river, the trees there are just starting to show color. I was proud of Riley because we met quite a few people along the trail who were also walking and also quite a few who were biking. He was pleasant and well mannered with all of them. I always worry that people will be afraid of him just because of his size, and not appreciate the mellow people-lover that he is.

We rounded out the day with a lovely dinner and now are winding down with a glass of wine at home.
