There and back again

Emsworthy

Not far from the honey pot that is Haytor there is this area called Emsworthy, in which sits the little barn with the red roof. At times when Haytor is swarming with people you will find a little quiet spot here and at the end of May each year you will find the fields around the barn a carpet of blue bells and be unlucky to have to share it with more than one or two people

Today Mrs M and I were off across the moor to Ashburton for a spot of minding the grand children and we stopped here to give Jinxy a walk first. There was once a survey that found out of every 100 people who visited Dartmoor, only one walked more than 100 yds from their car. Looking around us today, you could believe it.
Looks nice in large.
