Cairo Armchair View

Busy day at school. It was the first day that trainees had to submit lesson plans. We mark those, while observing their lessons and writing up their feedback (a running commentary of their class with positives and things to work on) and they get that after verbal group feedback straight after the lessons. The trainees are obviously a bit more stressed now as they have a lot to do, with the first assignment due on Friday too. Still, they just get on with it and aren't whingeing....at least not yet and not to us!

I'm finding there aren't so many chances of taxi-grab blips on the way home to this flat as there used to be on the way back to the hotel, when we stayed in Zamalek. So here you have the view from the armchair and corner, which I've kind of made mine here and sit here when I'm not in my room or over by the tv where the white sofas are.

Just spoken to Bb (4 hours behind in Brasil) and now to bed.
