Lee Saves The Day . . .

Off to WalMart this afternoon to print a poster-sized photo. The clanking yellow Kodak digital printers are tired, shagged out and ready for their pensions. One is out of action, two don't have working scanners, the CD writers don't work . . . Jools tried two in valiant attempts to get our card running, but no sign of life other than an instruction to press the sign on the screen.

Much thumping and cursing later, along came Lee, who threatened it a couple of times, banged the card in and out of the lumbering beast and . . . it worked. Head office, it seems, keeps servicing them, but won't install new ones. Someone's going to visit with a sledgehammer one of these days; hope I'm there to see it.

However, picture was wonderful. Thanks, Lee, you deserve a bonus . . .
