That's Life!

Union Hall

We're back at Toronto's Union Station again, this time to return son, Oliver, and his family to Montreal.

This is the station's Great Hall, designated by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada as being of "national architectural significance as one of the finest examples of Beaux-Arts railway station design in Canada".

Just think: A few years ago, there were serious plans to raze this to the ground and build a 'modern' glass and steel monument to contemporary society - bright lights and a new shopping opportunity every five yards.

'Nuff said . . .
