Loki is bored of this leaf hat business ... I was just trying to get a shot for this week's pet photography challenge - Fall. He sure does pull a grump face like a pro ...

Mr. Badger and Alex (roomie) were both hard at work all day trying to get some more of the flooring done. They have completed about 90% of our living room/foyer area (which is by far the largest section that is going to be done) and 25% of our spare bedroom. Maybe 2 - 3 more days worth of work =\ It is extra stressful because one of our neighbors is perturbed (can't blame him really ...) by all the noise. However, he doesn't have any reasonable solutions for us. We are already compromising by only doing this one day a weekend - which doubles the length of time our home is in disarray and we are not doing it during designated quiet hours. Our neighbors argument is that we should be respectful of our neighbors and not make so much noise. Our argument is that we have to get this done and it is a noisy job - no way around that. Plus, it isn't forever. He suggests we take off time in the middle of the week - which isn't possible for Mr. Badger and Alex. This is why community living gets under my skin - you really don't have any say in how your life goes (from either side). I just can't wait for it to be done ... and neither can the dogs! They are not happy with all the noise either :( But the floors do look beautimous!
