Meeting the Irish Ambassador

Straight back on Irish soil after their arrival in Lilongwe.
The Irish ambassador, Mr Liam McGabhann and his wife Catherine very kindly invited us to their home, with the warmest of welcomes. I think a group of 45 would be too big for the embassy, all at the same time!
The ambassador gave an introduction to Malawi, his work there, their approach and what they are hoping to achieve.
Catherine looked after the drinks and finger food and we were all most impressed with the genuine friendliness and hospitality and how lucky we are to be represented in Malawi by such a, fine, hardworking team.
A great way to be introduced to a new country.
