Miz Zip's - Route 66 - Flagstaff, Arizona

Miz Zip's, famous for their pies, has been around since Route 66 actually ran straight through from Chicago to California.

Now, it is run by the founder's grand daughter, which is actually pretty cool, who is keeping the tradition going. The decor is original and the blackberry pie a la mode was fabulous!

Sadly, the once famous 'Route 66' just exists in its original form in very few places. I also visited the 'Route 66' in Williams Arizona on the way back to Sedona from the Grand Canyon. It actually had more going on than Flagstaff.
