Long Day

I never sleep well when Clare's not here so it was up and at em just after seven.
Finished cleaning through the kitchen and started the painting in the hallway.
By the end of the day at nine-thirty the hallway had been painted beneath the dado rail including the skirting boards, the floor tiles sugar soaped and scrubbed clean.
A long day but rewarding, it's only because the dogs are away with Clare that we are able to paint at all.
