I'll Take This One!

BlipBear was fairly smitten with any number of cameras at Glazer's Camera in Seattle today. If he could have drooled, he would have. Kiwi had to restrain him which didn't work very well because Kiwi was just as bad.

BlipBear, Kiwi and fellow blipper MaryJo and I went down to Seattle to look at new cameras for her because hers is really, really old and she wanted to test some out so she could make some intelligent decisions about getting a new camera. BlipBear and Kiwi bonded immediately with Jason, the wonderful person who helped us and the three of them discussed all the things people/bears/kiwis who are experts on photography discuss. MaryJo and I paid close attention, understood most of what was said, learned some new stuff and got to play with some nifty cameras. I won't tell what happened but trust me, the next time MaryJo and I go out on a photo day, it's going to be a whole lot more fun.

I don’t get to Seattle very often and neither does MaryJo so we really took advantage of it and shopped our way back north to home. We went to some of our favorite stores, found a couple of unexpected bargains and ended up at the end of a 10-hour day feeling pretty good about our adventure. We only got slightly lost a couple of times and averted total disaster once when MaryJo noticed that I had dropped my wallet on the floor at a convenience store in a fairly scary part of Seattle. That gave me goose bumps for sure.

BlipBear and Kiwi are taking a much deserved evening off, with chocolate.
