The Nutcracker

Our son, Roger, (the glass artist), made the body for this nutcracker several years ago when he had his cabinetry business (Quality Custom Cabinetry), and was doing a lot of wood turning. It has been on our mantel all these years as just bare unpainted wood. Our neighbor was kind enough to take it and paint it for us. Just got it back today, and WOW what a difference. It is even more special now, since our son made the body and our very good friend painted it.
