Pensive Saturday

This past month has brought a relentless barrage of challenges. Death, sickness and loss, with little space in-between to catch my breath and reflect. Photography always helps me relax and this morning was no different as I raced around the garden trying to capture this beautiful butterfly, but as soon as I located it in my viewfinder and focused it flew off! I'm particularly pleased that I managed to catch it on these rich blossoms which contrast perfectly with the whiteness of it's wings.
Maybe you know the name of this tree which produces tiny red apples?
