If I knew you were coming I'd have baked a cake...

I go to the Puffin Pool with my friend Anne every Friday. We both have Rheumatoid Arthritis so it's lovely to be immersed in the warm water and be able to do some exercises with less pain.
To raise money for the pool Anne makes cakes, scones and pancakes to sell and raises quite a lot of money. Today she also made these wonderful chocolate muffins for Jackies' Grand daughter to sell, she needs to raise £4,000 in the next 21 months so that she can do some voluntary work in India. I could nt resist and I've been looking at them all day and will delve in as soon as I have finished my blip and made a cup of tea.
The tablecloth seen was made by my Great Grandmother, I think, it was made using a technique called pulled or drawn thread work. It was probably made from a larger tablecloth that was damaged. We're quite a resourceful family :)
