A Blipper's Bonanza!

Here they are! BlipBear and Kiwi arrived safely, exactly on schedule. I think they snoozed most of the way from New Jersey, but then they’re seasoned travelers so they know how to cope. They were welcomed by a fairly large group of critters. Monty Moose of course, a seasoned traveler himself, was here when the box was opened, as was Bo-Bo the polar bear and Gertrude Ganderbilt, the goose, Howie the raven and an unnamed hamster. Snuffy was part of the welcoming committee too but Lizzie was out on yard patrol. We're all so glad to have them visit. We’re looking forward to the weekend so we can do fun things. BlipBear and Kiwi have visited Bellingham before so we’re going to have to find some wonderful things they haven’t seen or done yet. We hope to gather some fellow blippers to share the adventure.

You’ll notice that Kiwi’s attention is not on the camera. He was quite taken with a 2014 calendar which also arrived in the mail this very day from blipper Midgehole Dave in England, one of my favorite blippers. He consistently blips beautiful pictures of some of my favorite spots in his part of the world (West Yorkshire) that bring back special memories for me of past visits to England, and I'm delighted that he decided to put some of them into a calendar. I know BlipBear has been to the Yorkshire Dales because he has a thimble in his backpack from there. He was really happy to see the calendar.
