Suburban autumn
This is the view outside Mom's doctor's surgery. We had to go there this afternoon to get her medicines reviewed. That was complicated enough - apparently she should have been taking a blood pressure drug aswell for the last I don't know how long. We also got the official report that Mom has vascular dementia - although we knew, it is still different when you actually see it written down. At the moment we just have to press on trying to sustain some routines so that her diabetes does not get out of control, got to contact the DVLA, got to collect her medi packs. On top of that Dad is still in hospital with his pneumonia coming under control but having developed gout. He now appears to be reacting to the gout drug and is being violently sick. Their kitchen roof started leaking in the torrential rain so super handyman husband found a handy roofer to do that today, tomorrow needs to include taking Mom to the hairdressers and finding a replacement microwave for her. Good job I have Friday off.
