Golden illusion

Looks like dozens of wine glasses but it isn't really. It's far fewer than it seems. But they are on a shelf in a cabinet with a mirror back. The cabinet was made by - I think - my grandfather (mum's side) and was what was known as an 'apprentice piece'.
