A budding horticulturalist

This is Isaac, our latest addition to our plant propagation team.
Our strategy for January 2016 is to have 20,000 improved variety seedlings, to meet orders from Government.
Benidicto and Robert left before 6am to head North to Karonga, near the Tanzanian border, co collect Mango scions and lemon seeds. This is a journey of about 500 km by bus and staying overnight.
Karonga has a different climate to an extent and has a variety of Mango types.
The proactive nature of our operation has certainly helped us to get Certification by ICRAF.
