From Chile to Glasgow...

this jacket, hot off the needles and travelling west tomorrow for Glasgow daughter.
I'm unsure whether or not she will like or even wear this itchy cardigan, knitted with wool from Chile. It is hand dyed and as there is no lot number in the dye shade, every hank is slightly different which meant that it was knitted using 2 balls at the same time to mitigate the difference in colour.

Apart from the itch and thickness, I'm hoping she will like it enough to wear it in the depths of the winter with a new baby to look after..........

I hate not having knitting on the go when I watch television. Somehow it doesn't seem right just to sit idle and simply watch the screen, and so I was delighted when Shipley daughter put in an order for another cardigan, this time knitted with British wool where I can more or less guarantee the colour will be uniform.

In the post today, I received one of the little world travelling black and white instant cameras with which to blip a stranger for the 'When You're a Stranger' Blipfoto project. I've read and re-read the instructions, so I hope that when I meet my tall, dark handsome stranger for a 'click' I don't fluff my modus operandi.
It feels like an on-line date! No pressure then........
