Sunlit church

After a wet few days, the sun was shining when I came out of a meeting in the church hall in the next village. Like the church in my village it is very ancient and sits squat and comfortable in its allotted place.

The speaker at the meeting was a larger than life actor dressed as Henry VIII who, as Henry, recounted his life in a very loud voice. It was interesting to hear about this turbulent reign from Henry's point if view. The cream tea afterwards was very welcome.
