Sunshine and showers

A long-postponed walk with friends today could have, again, fallen victim to the weather. The forecast was sunshine and showers so we decided to risk it. And that is exactly what we got - sunshine and showers, sometimes simultaneously.

I could have chosen this rainbow and almost went for autumn grasses on the hills. But I liked the shot of the heavy rain through the trees in the churchyard (near to the pub.)
