HMS Warrior...

This shot was taken while waiting to catch a train to Oxford. Meeting elder son and hubby there tonight.
Liked the old fashioned feel of this shot, which, for some reason, reminded me of Christmas cards.
HMS Warrior was built in 1860 and is the only surviving member of Queen Victoria's Black Battle fleet. She was the world's first iron-hulled, armoured warship powered by steam as well as sail. How times have changed.... !
