"Well are you coming up, or not?"

The Fairy Glen

We had a lovely meander down the Fairy Glen today. I felt tired, it had been a busy few days, so this afternoon we wandered down the Glen by the side of the Markie Burn.

The dogs absolutely loooove this walk, it is doggie heaven, a gentle burn to splash about in, banks to chase each other up and down, plenty of mud on days like today, smells the like of which I have no knowledge and all culminating in these beautiful waterfalls and pools. The highlight of the walk is me throwing the ball in the pool and them flinging themselves into the water to retrieve it. This is what they are waiting for.

We met no-one, I think the mud had deterred everyone else! It is really a short walk there and back but we managed to make it last a couple of hours. Great fun.
