Fly Agaric

A very full morning and early afternoon on parish duties bracketed a lunch time meeting and I'm out again tonight for what is likely to be another long meeting, so despite the showers I decided I needed some fresh air so headed off to Sutton Park with Harvey & my Canon compact.

I often find I look at the camera screen and think "That'll do", but when I get home and have a proper look realise I should have asked "how can I improve this?" I deliberately went to an area of the park I've found these fungi before, and although I can see where it can be improved (the dead leaves were attached - I removed the loose dead ones) I'm quite pleased given the constraints i.e. compact camera, rain and bored Jack Russell.
