Fine Work

Last week after hosting Ladies who Lunch I went for a walk in the sunshine. This week it is pouring with rain (but warm!) and I have had to resort to an indoor blip.
These are family heirloom works of art and I never fail to be impressed by the delicate needlework needed to produce them. I do not know about their history, except that the smaller one was found wrapped in tissue paper in an envelope when my mother in law died. I think the larger one was bought at some time but the origin of both will remain a mystery.
