'Butterfly in The Rain'
A very busy day in the office today, preparing for a client presentation this afternoon and also working on a Town Planning application for a new house in Brighton which is in a flood zone. The proposed house has a basement and in order to keep the basement from flooding we have to build the house floor level 300mm above the flood level given to us by Melbourne Water, including the ramp down to the basement. So we actually have to ramp up first to act as a bund before ramping down to the basement level. Ramps are tricky suckers to work out.
It's been drizzling on and off for most of the day today, and went for a quick hop outside to find this butterfly sitting on the leaf in the rain. It didn't seem the least bit interested in me and just sat there motionless while a snapped off half a dozen shots, then ran back inside before getting too wet myself.
PS, just realized this was taken about 5m away from where last years shot on this day was taken.
