La Place des Vosges...

This beautiful old square in the Marais district dates back to 1612. It is such a lovely place to visit, with its beautiful red brick housefronts surrounding the main square. Victor Hugo lived at number 6, and his former home is now a museum.
I enjoyed people watching... there were groups of students having great fun and playing some game which involved a large white fake fur animal head. Most of all, I enjoyed watching these happy little children playing in the sunshine...
