Cyclo-cross

It's been a busy weekend in the park. Yesterday cross country running and today cross country cycling. I had initially gone into the woods to find mushrooms but then realised parts had been cordoned off and there were lots of bikes around. We saw the juniors competing and I loved the looks of determination on their faces and they battled with the very wet and muddy terrain.
As we came out of the woodland we could see the adults waiting to set off. There was a lot of bike envy and showing off to be seen! We came home then but about 10 minutes later torrential rain came and set in for the rest of the day. I don't know whether the men managed to complete their course.
