At last!

Katie has seen photos of Max and Eden on Wiggles rides in shopping centres. Early on in the holiday, we promised her that if she saw one she could ride it. She spotted this one from wayyyyy down the corridor! Today we were getting bits ready for Katie's australian friends birthday party and a few things that we wanted to buy to take home. The children were brilliant. A quick Macdonalds lunch as a treat followed. I even managed to sneak into the ABC shop and buy a couple of Dorothy Dinosaur surprises without Katie knowing! We also managed to find a Christmas kangaroo and koala tree decoration to take home with us.

We then took them to Applecross Reserve. There is a gigantic pirate ship play area which they had a big play on. We had bought the kids giant bubble wands while we were out which they played with together with some other little ones who were at the park too. We had chosen here to go as its meant to be good for dolphin spotting. But we didnt see any. We did however see lots of seagulls, including one who came and visited us during our last sausage sizzle of the holiday. He stole Katie's sausage straight from the bun in her hand! Seagulls aside, a gorgeous evening, watching the sun set over Swan River and enjoying a relaxing time.
