A strange blip!

I was at a fundraising afternoon which included music, singing & sketches, all very well done but didn't photograph well! The walls of the house we were in were all covered in plaques or lovely paintings done by the talented man of the house.

The room was crammed full of people so someone's head was in the way, thus the insert of my clematis which was, at the time, being dug up by friends who were taking it to it's new home in their garden. They realised, however, that there wasn't room for it and their son in the car so chose to take him home and come back later for the clematis!

I won't go into details of what happened when they came back! Suffice to say the plant is now in it's new home but has had a drastic haircut!
