Aberdeenshire view

A cold night, but snug in our small tent, and awoke to sun breaking through the clouds.
It was an early start as we needed to be in Aberdeen before 9.30 and weren't quite sure how long it would take. In fact we arrived in plenty of time for parkrun which is actually along the Beach Esplanade and the sun and clouds were giving great views across the sea.
I decided to stay close to the "sub 28" pacer and did finish ahead of him in 28mins 11secs - apparently his gps went on the blink. Not the most exciting course as it's all on tarmac and pretty flat but the sea views were good. I wouldn't fancy it on a windy day, the Aberdonian parkrunners are tough.
Then it was a trip to the local café, a walk into town to by more camping gaz, back to the campsite for lunch and a change into cycling gear,
By now the weather was good so we cycled to Castle Fraser and went round the castle and gardens before returning with this expansive view toward Bennachie.
