Oh I do love a good badminton match!!! :)

Decided to pop up to the Grove courts to watch Abertay's first match of the season against Stirling! Lots of great quality 3 setters across the 12 matches but a disappointing loss for them, going down 7-5 :(

Abertay v Stirling will always be a special match up for me as it was my final uni match fixture in 2012! I was determined to end my 4 years on a win - both personally and for the team and that's exactly what happened! We got the overall win and thanks to my mixed doubles partner I got the win to end my 'career!' Even if it did take us 3 sets to put the Stirling pair away! I had complete faith in the smashes coming off the Babolat racquet which was not in my hand! haha!

It was a match I will never forget! :)
