A catch up with Lyndsay tonight over dinner made for a lovely change from the organised chaos that is the first night of uni badminton!

We decided to go to Marco Polo - a restaurant with relatively good reviews and I guess it was good, it just wasn't great! Put it this way, after wanting to go, I now won't be rushing back! My lemon sole was OK, but when it said "with seasonal greens" - are green peppers and spinach the only greens in season just now?!!" Dessert was good, but resembled nothing like the photos on their website!

It was great to catch up with Lyndsay as I hadn't seen her since June! It was fun living with her last year and I miss our 'reality TV nights!'

Walking back home I stumbled across this horse's head sitting outside the Caird Hall! It was one of two (both were there) and I've seen them before! The last time I seen them they were sitting in the middle of a roundabout close to Edinburgh Airport but in recent months I'd noticed they were missing! Apparently they're now on a tour of Scotland and Dundee is the first place they've come to where they've been broken! :(

Trust Dundee!! haha!

My camera phone doesn't do them any justice but because they appear to be made from small pieces of metal, they were catching the light around the Caird Hall and for the first time in a very long time, this small bit of Dundee suddenly looked very pretty at night!
