Mowing the lawn

Having not mown the lawn since early June, we were surprised how much it had grown. Surely nothing grows in the Hebrides? The hover mower died a week ago - not being up to the job. The new mower arrived today coinciding of course with the first rain for a fortnight. Tricia resorted to pulling up the grass with bare hands.
