No friends today?

The Rosehaugh Estate.

This is the start of one of our favourite walks, but usually we meet fellow dog walkers for a joint walk. However today it was just us and Poppy couldn't believe it, for the first half hour she would stop every few minutes to listen and watch, waiting for someone, anyone to appear on the horizon. What a disappointment, Bud didn't care, as long as Poppy and I are there he is happy.

She did give up eventually and enjoyed herself, there is a lovely stream running through the Estate and she has a great time swimming and wallowing in the cool, clear Highland water. Bud fell in again today and got soaked. Once again he dropped his ball in the stream and struggled to get to it, whimpering all the time as he couldn't decide if he was brave enough to go in. As he fell in the decision was made for him.
