cosy pub
today was wet in the Lakes and we went off roading. Massive fun, we hired an ex army Defender and set off to the hills with a GPS and set of directional maps, taking it in turns to drive / navigate. On permissive tracks and old roads we wound our way around the Lyth Valley. The route took us via a cosy pub for lunch, much needed as the back of the Defender was open with just canvas for cover.
Here is my wife with our youngest D and his girlfriend L, they today celebrated 4 years of going out, from school together they both went their own ways and different Uni's but now they are planning a year together in Australia. They are great fun to be out with.
A lovely wet weather and rest day rolled into one.
