Water Feature

When I arrived at the ceramic class this morning, I had a nice surprise, Paula had managed to fire the top half of the water feature I have been making for several months. I had finished the bottom some months ago and have had it at home waiting for the top half to be finished.

This afternoon I have managed to make a quick mockup to test that the pump works. I was going to silicon the plastic tube into the top of the pot but the silicon had gone off. So to get it running I just held the tube in the top with masking tap, not very water tight but it has proved that it works. So tomorrow I will spend some time putting it together properly.

The bottom pot acts as a reservoir for the water, the water is pumped up, come out the top and cascades over the surface of the top two pots that are joined together, then the water returns into the bottom pot.
