Did big grocery shop before leaving Edinburgh as Waitrose has yet to reach north of here. Husband likes this more than me, but then again he's more of a 'foodie' - and a better cook! Have just noticed the tendency for all ages of Edinburgh women to wear rucksacks on their backs when out - not something I've noticed in any other city. I love these French supermarket carrier bags - so colourful, fun and they remind me of heat and holidays!
