Fever

So much for my 24 hour bug prediction. We woke up several times for water in the night...luckily little man and I had slept on the living room floor so I only had to sit up, rather than getting out of bed ... Smart momma ;0)
This morning he was HOT! My cool new thermometer read 104! I tried it 3 times, then watched an online how-to to make sure I was doing it right. Then I checked one of the other kids, normal...so I checked little man again 103. I called the nurse, the nurse called the dr. They told me to give him some acetaminophen and wait as we had an appt this afternoon anyway. The medicine brought it down a little. I stopped panicking for a while :0)
The ID doc this afternoon said it was probably the body reacting to too much antibiotic medicine, or maybe a tummy bug, or a reaction to the rabies shot...or all 3 poor little man.
Anyhow, good news he said we could stop the antibiotics and they pulled out the pic line...one step forward.
Stitches out in the broken arm first thing tomorrow...it won't be pretty, I'm not much looking forward to it, neither is little man.

in other news;
I haven't ordered a new hard drive, somehow I didn't find the time today, I wonder why not LOL
And the septic tank is backing up into the bath tub, gross!
...So we can't bathe...(the boys seem to think this is good news)
And I refuse to let any of this get me down, so I'm either entering a mellow phase of life, or I've gone completely bonkers hahaha!
