Evacuee Day

Ironically, having spent a large part of the evening sorting out photos for this chap I have little literal or metaphorical battery left for blipping a photo. They do love a bit of dressing up at the kids' school - Jackson's topic this term is WW2 so today they spent the day as evacuees. This is him working on his sad face.

Have tried very hard to ignore distractions today and focus on getting my work vibe going again. With a fairly decent amount of success which has interestingly given me some energy for doing some of the things I avoided being distracted by.

Now to plug me and the laptop in for a recharge.

EDIT - and I don't want to forget how I got away with bad parenting by having a good child who resisted singing the "Hitler has only got one ...." song at school* despite me thinking it was a good idea to teach it the kids over breakfast.

*well in front of the teachers at least.
