Late afternoon fun on the beach

Today was my Highland Hospice day so the dogs had to wait until late afternoon for their walk, they did spend a lot of time in the garden as it was such a gorgeous day the french windows were open all the time. As soon as I got home we went down to the beach and had a lovely time playing with the ball, they went swimming in the sea and Bud dug innumerable holes in the sand. We must have spent at least 2 hours down there and by the time we were coming home it was getting close to sunset. In spite of the lovely afternoon the beach was virtually empty, there were a few other dog walkers around the cafe area but the other end of the beach where we go was deserted. Bliss!!
