Well?

We took the scenic route from Macaé to Teresópolis yesterday, to catch a glimpse of the dogs and make sure we had everything we needed from there for our trip to the States on Saturday. A long drive, endless curves, but through beautiful, green mountains, tumbling river in the valley, the whole deal. Last year, my pictures came out really well - too bad that this year they were washed out and colourless. Blip spite, maybe?
The rapturous welcome from the dogs more than compensated for the hours of driving. Pepsi, in the photo, is the most vocal dog I have ever known, and she had a lot to say yesterday. It's hard to get her to stay still for a photo, but eventually, today, bribery won the day.
I'm going to miss them - not sure whether to hope they do or don't miss us.
