Sleeping in the Morning Sun

I caught Kirb napping this morning on his bed. He sleeps outside every night (his choice - we'd rather he sleep inside, but he wants out) on this old couch. I feel kind of bad during the day because he sleeps about 80% of the time, but nearly every night he barks and barks and barks at coyotes and other gremlins in the night. Thank goodness we live out in the country and no one but us has to listen to him. Usually he's out in the way back 40 barking and working, so he's not that disturbing. So, I'll cut him a little slack because he's been working the graveyard shift. Sleep on, Big Man.
